The National Cartoonists Society Foundation (NCSF) is happy to announce the winner of the 2011 Jay Kennedy Memorial Scholarship.

Mengxin Li is a Film and Animation major at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Born in China, she grew-up in Japan, drawing cartoons from a young age. She received the third place prize at the Beijing International Student Animation Festival and her comic “Wind Chevalier” has been featured in the Japanese manga publication, Shoujo Jump.
